The CPAP device is a non electric pneumatic device. It is designed for third world and emerging countries. The device is mainly manufactured out of metal/sheet metal to withstand the rough clinical conditions. The user interface is positioned within the front glass at an ergonomic angle of 15°. The glass is back printed to protect the artwork from cleaning agents.
The devices high-contrast color scheme follows a current trend in medical design. This contrast structures the device and supports the user to focus on the essential areas.
The bigger part of this device is manufactured out of metal/sheet metal to keep manufacturing cost as low as possible in order to be competitive in the emerging countries. The goal is to provide substantial medical therapy also in hospitals with low budgets.
